Carbide tipped with centre point, 2 main cutting edges, 2 spurs. Precisely ground by diamond wheel on CNC machines. High quality carbide tipping and special curved grinding (from Ø 25 mm) on the main cutting edges. Ø 8-12 mm are fi tted with a full TCT head and a spiral. From Ø 50 mm with hexagonal shank for a better power transfer. Tear free, accurate drillings in all hard wood materials, coated and plastic coated chipboards, as well as many plastics, such as acrylic glass, Corian®, GFRP, HPL coating, polycarbonate, PVC and Trespa® board. Drilling with nearly no effort as well as an unbelievable service life, also for use in hard wood and hard plastics. Only recommended for stationary use! For freehand drilling we recommend the TCT-Bormax³ product line 1663.
