In
November we present two very special sets of Forstner bits …
1622 Bormax®
Centre point with cutting geometry. Two offset grooved main cutting edges (from Ø 11 mm) as well as the serrated circumferential cutting edge with longitudinal grooves make significantly less feed forces necessary and minimise friction as well as the resulting heat development. Hexagonal shank for better power transmission. Rapid drilling in soft wood, European hard wood, chipboard, MDF etc. Top performance in freehand and stationary use. Due to very low heat development, incredibly long service life with highest drilling quality.
1630 Forstner bit
Traditional Forstner bit with centre point, 2 main cutting edges and 2 closed peripheral cutting edges. Particularly low-friction due to offset peripheral cutting edge. Clean, tear-free drilling in soft wood, glue laminated beams etc. Particularly suitable for freehand operation in power drill.
