NEW: Pilot-guided Bormax® for railings and balustrades with stainless steel tubes

Today almost all professional stairbuilders use the pilot-guided Bormax. This Bormax has a replaceable centre point; or rather you can replace the centre point with the supplied 4,0mm pre-drill. With this mounted, extending 30 mm from the working face of the Bormax, you have the ideal setup for drilling clean consistent holes at an oblique angle. Daily business for stairmakers, chairmakers, stagebuilders and decking contractors.

In the event that you need more reach than the 90mm standard length Bormax allows, we have extensions available in four lengths; 80, 125, 250 and 400mm. All Pilot-guided Bormax bits have a 10 mm shaft diameter with three flats. The extensions are precisely matched and with four clamping screws (offset by 120°) clamped on the flats, perfect stability and concentricity is achieved.

Besides the traditional turned wooden baluster, our customers in the stairbuilding industry are increasingly finding demand for 16mm stainless steel tubes. Have you ever tried to put a series of 16mm stainless steel tubes into a series of extremely precise 16mm angled holes?

For precisely this application we have developed and are now producing a special Pilot-Guided Bormax which generates the perfect hole for 16 mm stainless steel pipes! It’s good news for your wallet too because this drill costs just € 31,95 including a centre point and pilot drill! Available to order now under the item number 1624.162
