New Sets of Wood Drills –Series 1590

If holes with small diameters are to be drilled in softwood, we recommend a wood drill. FAMAG have different qualities of wood drills. Often you only know at the end of very many holes which drill is really cost-effective. So our first recommendation is always the premium series 1594 in the full-ground HSS version.

In the medium price segment, we offer a wood drill in CV quality, however, already has two spurs. The two cutting lips are particularly important in the softwood processing, to sever the long fibres of softwood clean in the pre-cut. Described here is the FAMAG series 1590.

These wood drills have in addition to the cutting lips and two main cutting edges a double leadership. On this double leadership can be fix very well countersinks series 2100 or deep collars.

With the new FAMAG catalogue „150 !“ we offer these products now also in a Set. In the smallest set you will find the Ø 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8mm. Clean housed are the drill bits in a transparent sliding blister. Item 1590.805

The 7 pieces set comes in high-quality wooden box and therefore includes the Ø 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. These are the most common wood drills bits in this series. Item 1590.507

But who here and there needs the intermediate sizes, can enjoy the large 11-pieces Set in a wooden boy. This set includes all the important diameters 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 mm. Item 1590.511
