FAMAG-Tools
– A success story since 1865
A blacksmith by the name Friedrich
August Mühlhoff founded his company for drilling tools in
October 1865 in Remscheid in the heart of the county "Bergisches
Land", Germany. The company, which is trading under the name FAMAG
today, can now look back on more than 135 years of expertise and tradition in the
production of drilling and cutting tools.
FAMAG initially started
with the production of Ring-, Twist- and Spoon Auger Bits for carpenters
and coach-builders. Many new products like machine bits for woodworking
and drills for metal, stone, masonry, soil augers and various other tools
have been taken on since. Our product portfolio now comprises of a broad
range of drilling and cutting tools for woodworking and all other kinds of
materials. - Our tools are being valued by industry, professional trade
and do-it-yourselfer in a wide range of applications.
FAMAG can only meet the
highest quality standards by adopting the very latest manufacturing
methods which comprises of CNC machines and robots. Our tradition of
constant product improvement and development of new tools guarantees a
product quality which is second to none.
Our products are
distributed worldwide under the trade mark FAMAG. Our latest
product, the innovative Bormax Forstner Bit is a trade mark
and is protected by patents.
FAMAG is run in private
ownership today by graduate engineer Ralf Hunke and Thomas Pomp, Managing Directors.
