VARIO Countersink 180°
Everyone knows the problem of boring and countersinking (in one operation) in wood: either the fitting shell drill countersink is not at hand or it has to be pre-drilled a hole with an intermediate size for which there is no classic shell drill countersink.
Here comes our novelty: VARIO adjustable countersink with point angle 90° and 180°.
The Tool:
Everybody knows the problem of drilling or sinking in one operation in wood: either the fitting countersink is not at hand or you have to pre-drill a hole with an „awry“ intermediate size for which a classic countersink does not exist. In this case the carbide tipped VARIO-Countersink of FAMAG comes into operation. It can be variably mounted on twist drills from Ø 3 mm – 8 mm. The tool consists of two half shells which are fixed by two clamp screws on the drill.
This countersink now exists in two versions:
- The already established „VARIO 90“ to create 90°-sinkings for countersunk head screws.
- And the newest „VARIO 180“ for 180°-sinkings for washer and nuts. This countersink is also equipped with high quality carbide tipping which allows producing a clean and freeing of tear sinking in every wood and boards. A typical appliance is the construction of terrace floors of exotic hard wood.
