When it comes to routing door seals or door countersink seals into the undersides of wooden exterior doors, we now offer a new range of special grooving bits - just for this application.
To achieve the best results even in hardwood doors, the 3169 series router bits are carbide-tipped and fitted wi mm and an overall length of 90 mm. The shank diameter is 8 mm. Of course, all router bits are labelled with the minimum clamping depth and have all the important markings, such as a speed recommendation. It is particular nice that these milling cutters are fitted with a carbide front cutting edge. This means that, in addition to milling, they can also be used for plunge cutting. Furthermore, all router bits are powder-coated in yellow and have a lasered depth scale directly on the router bit. This makes adjusting the router much easier!
We have based ourselves on the market leaders in sealing systems and created a set (item no. 3169.904) with the four most important diameters 8/12/15/20 mm. All router bits are safely stored in a handy box made of transparent plastic.
